Student Intern Clinic
The purpose of this student intern clinic is meant for resident and/or student intern to learn more about the integration of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine treatments with western medicine protocols. The students have the opportunity to work under the guidance of acupuncture practitioners while treating patients with various modalities, but not limited to, acupuncture, moxibustion, electrical stimulation, herbal medicine, manual therapy, cupping, gua-sha, lifestyle and nutritional counseling.
To enhance understanding and gain first-hand experience, students observe private treatments under a supervising practitioner and shadow case-study teachers. They will be observing, review charts, and/or discuss the case for educational purposes. It is important that you fully understand that treatments under the student intern clinic is a voluntary participation.
During the session, a supervised licensed acupuncturist will be providing education on your treatment plan determined by the treating provider after consultation and assessment deemed appropriate after evaluation, and not every treatment area listed above will necessarily be treated. There will be portions of your treatment that may be performed by a student intern who is learning advanced techniques under supervision throughout the procedure. Please expect there to be questions, teaching discussions, and demonstrations that may occur during the session as this is to help train the student interns.
insurance billing is not available.
This is a discounted self-pay/cash-pay service only. The student intern clinic does not accept insurance reimbursement as a form or payment for insurance claims. Any supplements, liniments, topicals, devices, herbs, incense, and other hard sale items will be sold as listed at full price according to the office and prices are subject to change at anytime.

New patient visit (90min) : $80
subsequent visit (90min): $80
If you would like to be treated only by a licensed practitioner, please book appropriately with the practitioner of your choice for their New Patient Visit and Follow-Up Visit. The service rates are not the same as the Student Intern Clinic and each practitioner has different availability.
